Over our five year collaboration with Working Dog, we have developed trusted connections with community organisations Australia wide. The benefit of such links is we have direct access at grass roots level enabling us to get in touch quickly regarding urgent needs and how
immediate money could be used. This was particularly valuable during the floods in Queensland and Victoria. Within a few days we were able to inspire and enable donations of over $350,000 from individuals, foundations and businesses who know and trust our work.
Amazingly, we had one project offer to help another and we were privileged to take a group of eager young Sudanese boys from New Stars Association to central Victoria to help the farmers in the massive clean up.
