When was the last time you sat with an Aboriginal Elder?

  • Igniting Change 285 Carlisle Street Balaclava, VIC, 3183 Australia (map)

Uncle Noel is a Budawang Elder from the Yuin Nation, qualified teacher, educator, mentor, horticulturist, chef, historian and artist. Noel - alongside his wife Trish - has spent over 35 years working with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal adults and children.
This is a rare chance to sit, listen and learn about Country, plants, animals, and the deep indigenous wisdom that binds it all together.
The session will be followed by an optional hands-on activity, carving and making boomerangs. We hope you can join us for one or both!
